Brownsville Revival August 18th 1997: Spin Magazine

August 18th, 1997 journal entry:

Today I went by Blockbuster Video to pick up a copy of Spin Magazine.  Not because it is a magazine I would ever normally read but because Spin wrote an article on the revival.

They mentioned our family in the article.  Over-all they do a lot of mis-quoting and exaggerating about the Revival and the message.  Anyone reading it would go away with a bad taste in their mouth.

In the photo below the writer mentions and misquotes my dad (Sandy Good) who spoke with him after a revival service about what the Lord was doing.

The article was overall negative and bias.  But, it's always fun to look back and see the attention that the Revival was getting even from the secular media.
